Waters Symposium: Super-resolution Microscopy

Monday, March 7, 1:30 PM

Featuring Eric Betzig, one of the three 2014 Nobel Laureates who were honored for this breakthrough development.

This symposium highlights the rich history of super-resolution nanoscopy including the award of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Eric Betzig, W.E. Moerner and Stefan Hell for their pioneering efforts in the development of super-resolved fluorescence microscopy, which brings optical microscopy into the nanodimension that has formed the basis of super-resolution nanoscopy.
